Description

The GRAVON 500 gravel wheels redefine gravel riding with their lightweight and aerodynamic efficient design and responsive dynamics. The robust off-road wheels are made for fast rides on any terrain and their reliable construction makes them a long lasting cycling product. The hooked rim construction offers a stable and agile wheel set, designed for fast and efficient gravel rides on any terrain. Compared to its predecessor the new GRAVON 500 wheelset increaded the rim depth from 42mm to an even more aerodynamic 50mm. With tires from 30mm up to 69mm it`s the optimal wheel set for both, fast commuting, or long gravel adventures.

We`ve intensively tested our aerodynamic gravel wheels, the GRAVON 250, GRAVON 420 (no more available), and GRAVON 500 with the Schwalbe G-One 40c tire at side winds.

As shown in the graph, the GRAVON 500 offers the most aerodynamic gain and best sailing effect at 30 km/h.

Gravel tires comparison

We`ve tested the GRAVON Carbon 500 at different side winds and different tire widths.

The results show an aerodynamic performance advantage using the Schwalbe G-One 35c, at 30 km/h.
