A rule change by the UCI and the Swiss Sides proven development approach with extensive Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and wind tunnel testing allowed Swiss Side to push the boundaries even further. The result of the aerodynamic development project and cooperating with Simplon is an aero road bike with no compromise in aerodynamic design, ready to brake existing records and personal best times. The Simplon Pride II is fast enough, it can be considered a time trial bike.

The Pride II not only set a new standard at integral wind tunnel tests, but it did also set a new aerodynamic benchmark for UCI legal road bikes confirmed by two independent wind tunnel tests conducted by German magazines #RealWorldPerformance.
